aw, man. a mouse ate my cookies. chewed through the ziploc bag to get them. the worst part is that the ziploc bag was in the bag i carry around with me all day. did this happen over night? which night? i've had them in my bag, being good and not eating them, since monday morning. or has it happened while i'm walking around town? little mouse stowaway eating my cookies, possibly only mere millimeters away from my hands going in to retrieve items throughout the day. maybe he's still in there, scared and frozen. did he come from the library or my house? am i the dirtiest person in the world, attracting little mouse friends wherever i go in this city?
