2004-04-06 - 3:36 p.m. as much as i like to think i'm a more enlightened eater these days, little to nothing beats what you grew up with when it comes to being sick. it's (almost) worth it to lie around for nearly 48 hours, harnessing all that energy for a miraculous wawa run for saltine crackers and campbell's chicken noodle soup. perhaps the movement alone woke me up, but i like to think it's the nostalgic panacea of high sodium processed food that enabled me to focus on the teevee to watch about a boy and down by law. because of course, DVD watching is quite medicinal as well. not as medicinal as the price is right or divorce court, but i don't have rabbit ears and divorce court was cancelled in the 1980's.
